My {Mostly} All Natural Skin Care Regimen

Hey friends!

I wanted to quickly share with you all my skin care regimen.

Last week, I posted this photo on my Facebook page...

and mentioned that the photo is not touched up in anyway-- and that recently I have been using some items from my kitchen to exfoliate, moisturize, and tone my skin.

I recieved several questions regarding my routine, so here it is:

1st-- I remove my makeup with coconut oil on a cotton swab.  I then wash my face and neck with Ponds Cold Cream.

I'm actually almost out and would like to try cleansing with honey when I run out. My mom swears by it and her skin is beautiful.

2nd-- Am I the only one that has to exfoliate almost everyday? I've been using the Dollar General knock off of the Buff-Puff with the Ponds Cold Cream, but a few times a week I will make a paste with baking soda and water to make a gentle scrub. I rinse it off with warm water and pat my face dry with a clean towel.

If my lips are needing a good scrub, a mix of granulated sugar and coconut oil rubbed in a circular motion all over my smackers will do the trick.

By this time, I already feel an improvement in the texture of my skin.

3rd-- Now, this part is one that some may not care for because of the smell, but I have been using diluted apple cider vinegar with the mother as a toner. I mixed 1 cup of water with 1/4 cup o  Bragg's Apple cider. I dip a cotton sea in the solotuion and wipe it all over my face. I let my face air dry.

{Please note!! ACV is a detoxifier. You may experience a temporary breakout while the ACV draws out the impurities.}

4th-- The best part of the whole thing--Moisturizing with coconut oil. It smells amazing and it really makes my skin feel like satin sheets.

I have a tub of organic cold pressed coconut oil tub that was given to me. I think it was purchased at a Costco or Sam's club.

A little bit goes a long way!! Let the oil melt with your body heat. Rub it between your palms and then smooth it on your face. Go ahead and smear it on your lips. Coconut oil is some awesome stuff.

Once I've done that and allow the oil time to penetrate my skin, I will go ahead and continue on with my makeup routine.

That's pretty much it.

If y'all have any other questions, please let me know.

Until next time,

Tangi
